Research Interests: While intense curiosity often serves to fuel Dr. Francis's academic pursuits, she has focused her attention on Organizational Identity and Identification and Organizational Attractiveness. In addition, she has worked to operationalize the concept of Personal Mastery introduced in Peter Senge’s The Fifth Discipline: The Art and Practice of The Learning Organization (1990). Dr. Francis values the insight offered by various methodological approaches, including those related to qualitative research and Internet-based surveys. Her research is also complemented by her interest in the study and practice of yoga.
