Ms. Wyatt has been an staff member of Owens Library, Northwest Missouri State University, in Maryville, MO since 1985.
She works as a Reference Specialist for the library, providing research assistance to students, staff, faculty and the surrounding community.  Ms. Wyatt also teaches Freshman Seminar to at Northwest Missouri State University.

In addition to her library duties, Ms. Wyatt is the coordinator of the LAP/S Proctoring Center for students with disabilities. The center is located on 3rd floor in Owens Library.

She is a member of the Maryville community and is involved in the Miss Northwest Scholarship program, Miss Missouri Scholarship program, and works to keep girls active in such programs.

As owner of Turtle Web Publishing, Pat  helps groups such as Maryville Dance Academy,  Miss Northwest/Miss Maryville/Miss Northwest Counties,  Miss Southern Missouri , Miss Northeast Missouri,  Miss Missouri, Jr. Misses of Missouri and Miss Missouri Alumni Association to maintain their websites.

Pat is the University sponsor for the Sigma Tau Epsilon Fraternity and the Northwest Dance Company.
