When coming to Northwest, you will be arriving to the Holiday Inn right off of Business 71 to check-in.  If you have chosen to come to Maryville by ground transportation we have compiled some directions from each way into Maryville for your convenience.

Directions to No Frills 2008: The BEARminimum by ground transportation:

From Kansas City, Missouri:  Go north on I-29, passing through St. Joseph. Proceed north, and exit on U.S. Hwy. 71 North to Maryville, exit #56A. After exiting, go 35 miles on Hwy.71 to Maryville. Take Business 71 into town and the Holiday Inn sets on the right side.

From Des Moines, Iowa:  Go south on I-35 approximately 65 miles to the Leon-State Hwy. 2, exit #12. Turn right and go west on Hwy. 2 for 60 miles to Bedford, IA. Once in Bedford, turn left on State Hwy. 148 and proceed southward approximately 20 miles. Turn west on Route CC. Proceed until you meet Hwy. 71. Cross the intersection and follow Business District 71. It becomes Main Street. Proceed on Main going through town then before Business 71 runs back into U.S. 71 the Holiday Inn will be on the left side.

From Omaha, Nebraska and Council Bluffs, Iowa:  Go south on I-29 approximately 50 miles and take the Hamburg, IA exit. Turn left on Hwy. 333, proceed through Hamburg to the stop sign, turn left (north) and then right (east) at the next stop sign, taking you out of town on Hwy. 333. Continue east on Hwy. 333 until you come to Hwy. 59. There will be a stop sign, cross the intersection and follow J64 to Braddyville, IA. At the stop sign, turn right on Hwy. 71 South and proceed 30 miles to Maryville. Take Business 71 into town, and on the right side will be Holiday Inn.

From St. Louis, Missouri:  Go west on I-70 to Kansas City. Exit right onto I-435 North (Des Moines). Exit left onto I-29 North to St. Joseph, passing through St. Joseph. Exit right on U.S. Hwy. 71 North to Maryville, Exit #56A. Proceed on Hwy. 71 for 35 miles. Take Business 71 into town and on the left side will be the Comfort Inn; it becomes Main Street. Proceed on Main to 4th Street and turn left, proceeding six blocks. The main entrance to campus is on the right.

Coming to Maryville by air transportation?

We understand that you might wish to fly into the nearby Kansas City International Airport for your trip to Maryville.  KCI is located about an hour south of Maryville on US71/I-29.  If delegates are flying into Kansas City International the BEARminimum Transit Fleet will be there waiting to pick you up or you can select to get your own transportation from the BEARminimum list of car rental services.  The BEARminimum Transit Fleet will be an additional, but minimal charge on top of the conference registration fee.  The option to request transportation to and from the airport will be made available to delegations during the registration process.
