C-BASE Testing Areas and Timing

The standard timing for the C-BASE for first time takers is as follows:

Writng 40 minutes
English, Math, Science and Social Studies 2 hours and 40 minutes (at your own pace)

The timing for retakes:

Writing 40 minutes
English 55 minutes
Math 55 minutes
Science 55 minutes
Social Studies 55 minutes

(The timing on retakes is monitored and you will be asked to hand in your test at the end of the allotted time for the testing you are required to do)

Extended time for accommondations-unless prearranged, extented time = 1 1/2 time

First time:

Writing 1 hour
English, Math, Science and Social Studies 4 hours

Retakes:

Writing 1 hour
English 1 hour
Math 1 hour and 30 minutes
Science 1 hour and 30 minutes
Social Studies 1 hour and 30 minutes

(The timing on retakes is monitored and you will be asked to hand in your test at the end of the allotted time for the testing you are required to do)
