WHERE?

  • Maryville, Missouri owns and operates Mozingo Lake which includes camp grounds, fishing sites, a beach, a loading ramp for boaters, cozy cabins to stay in, and much more.

  • There is a 320 acre piece of land, right on the lake that is owned by Northwest Missouri State University. It is known as MOERA (Mozingo Outdoor Education Recreation Area).

WHY?

  • People who enjoy outdoor activities go to MOERA to experience its beautiful lake and surrounding recreational areas. Others participate in the challenge course to develop their leadership and team work abilities. Businesses schools, youth groups and the athletics teams are some of the organization that use MOERA’s challenge course to strengthen group relationships and skills.
