On behalf of
Dr. Joyce Piveral and Dr. Gary Howren, our Steering Team
leaders, and all of the Northwest Team, we are delighted to
welcome you to our accreditation website. It is accurate to
say, as you will see from our team minutes and other exhibits,
that we have been planning in detailed ways for your visit for
the past five years.The Northwest

education community and to integrate all segments of
the community fully into professional educator
preparation.
We are extremely proud of what has been
accomplished, to achieve a data sharing system that fulfills
the ideals we had for a first generation system. We are now
ready to populate a second-generation system, with additional
capabilities.
As a result of these efforts, our very
capable faculty members have been able to implement a multiple
measures system. We find this enables students to, when
confronted with high expectations, gain targeted assistance
and rise to those expectations. We are very proud of the work
accomplished through our PDS relationships, which have led us
into a huge growth experience with the urban schools and has
changed our curriculum in deep, meaningful and lasting ways.
