In the fall of 1999, Horace Mann implemented
Spanish as a foreign language component of the curriculum. The
Spanish program is designed to teach conversational Spanish
and expose the student to the cultures of Spanish Speaking Countries.
Through the use of interactive instruction, games, music, and
traditional Latin Dance, students are taught to appreciate other
cultures and develop intercultural relationships, preparing
them to live in a multicultural society.
