Dr. Rebecca Newcom Belcher Director
Dr. Rebecca Belcher brings a varied
educational background to her role as Director. For the past
29 plus years, she has been a public school teacher and administrator
as well as a college professor and administrator. Dr. Belcher
has taught K-12th grades in various geographic locations with
diverse student populations, which included Hispanic, African-American,
native American, Asian and Caucasian students. During her education
career, Dr. Belcher has written and administrated numerous grants;
delivered numerous presentations and workshops at international,
national, and state or local conferences; and written curriculum
for diverse learners. Dr. Belchers has received many awards
including the Governor's award for outstanding college teaching.
