Missouri Reading Programs

Missouri Building Block Picture Book

This program is for readers in grades preschool through kindergarten. Voting ends December 31.

Show Me Reader

Sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. Each year 10 books are selected. Students in grades 1-3 must read, or have read to them, 6 of the 10 nominees to be eligible to vote. Voting takes place in mid-March.

Mark Twain Award

Sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. Each year 20 books are selected. Students in grades 4-8 must read, or have read to them, 4 of the 20 nominees to be eligible to vote. Voting takes place in mid-March.
