Horace Mann Mission

The Horace Mann Laboratory School provides an exemplary teacher education clinical setting, an elementary school, and research facility where early childhood, elementary and middle school faculties can collaborate to discuss, apply, and disseminate educational theories and best practices. These ideas and practices should promote dignity, responsibility and self-worth and empower our students and children to function effectively in our society as competent, productive, caring and responsible citizens.
