Job, research & scholarship opportunities

There are several opportunities for our students to receive reward for their hard efforts within the university and the department. Scholarships are available for our most outstanding students. Students in our department have several opportunities to gain professional experiences before entering the work force. Experiences are not limited to those listed here, but these are the most popular paths followed. Many of the opportunities provided by our department are one-of-a-kind because of the department's reputation with alumni, business contacts, and research consortiums ties to other universities.

Internships- National Geographic, government agencies, and private firms		TA/Office Assistantships- work closely with professors in their office and their labs

Undergraduate research projects- conducted locally or abroad on projects designed by you and your professor		Scholarships- departmental scholarships are for majors and the university has several for transfer students.
