Welcome to the Geology & Geography department at Northwest Missouri State University. We're located in Maryville, MO, which is conveniently located between Des Moines, Omaha, and Kansas City. Today we’d like to share with you career opportunities in geosciences. It can be difficult to think about committing your academic studies to one subject area, so we would like to illuminate some of the opportunities in the fields of geography and geology. If you don't think you're interested in continuing on in the geosciences, hopefully this presentation will at least provide you with an understanding of where geoscience classes fit into your general education.
