Steps to apply for the ESLProgram

How do I enter the English as a Second Language Program?

1. Answer all the questions on the English as a Second Language Program Application.

MS WORD FORMAT:
To print this form, right click here and choose "Save Target As.." This will save the file to your computer. Then print it from MS Word.

ADOBE ACROBAT FORMAT:

2. Fill out the Certificate of Finances. That form tells us that your sponsor (parent, relative, or friend) will pay for you to study in the United States.

3. Go to your sponsor’s bank. Ask for an official bank statement or government affidavit of support. It should show enough money to pay for 12 months of study (about US $17,000). You should send the original paper, not a copy of it.

4. Send all these papers (steps #1, 2 and 3) to:

          English as a Second Language Program
          Northwest Missouri State University
          800 University Drive
          106 Wells Hall
          Maryville, MO 64468-6001 U.S.A

You do not need a TOEFL score to enter the English as a Second Language Program.
